View Full Version : KXT125 Wiseco Piston Kit Surfaced Again!!
I asked this question awhile back. Has anyone else seen a part listing for a Wiseco KXT125 Tecate piston?? I have more than one book, Dennis Kirk, Chaparral, Scorcher, I cant remember which one now, that lists this piston in the ATV section under the heading KXT125 Tecate. Everyone told me that this had to be a misprint. I myself have been around these trikes from the beginning and have never seen or heard of one either, but it does puzzle the mind a bit. Anyhow, right now on www.carbidesmotoworld.com's website they have these unique pistons listed in there closeout section under the heading KXT125. Any other ideas or opinions?? Could everyone be using the same misprint?? Thanks.

You can verify at www.wiseco.com . They did change their part numbers not too long ago, but tehy still list the old and new number if your looking at NOS.

I think that piston was sold as a whole debore kit back in the day. It came with a smaller cylinder head, that bolted right onto the KXT 250 engine, to make it a 125cc. I think those pistons were only made for the 84/85 KXT's. I could have sworn I saw a KXT 125 cylinder on ebay a while back also..
