So I have my Big Red 200es all fixed up now, the last thing I needed was a set of fork boots for the 200m forks I put on. I saw the OEM ones, or at least faithful reproduction ones on ebay for $75, and that's just ridiculous, so I ordered the $7 chinese ones. Got them in and they're not even close to fitting, like 3/8" too wide at the bottom, at least 1/4" too wide at the top and like 2 full inches too long! Wtf? I've gotten knockoff parts before and they aren't great but they're at least close! These there's no way I could even think about making them fit! So I was wondering, to all who have 200m's or 200m forks on their bikes, is there a good replacement that isn't $75? I'm fine paying a bit extra for quality but $75 for a couple pieces of rubber?!?

Had a few buy mine and then cut them down about 1/3 = 5 or so pleats. No one really biotched

I bought the cheapo $10 boots for my 200M, they'll work good enough. The $75 ones are cheap aftermarkets too, I messaged the guy. He's making money if anyone is seriously buying them.

Many of the more expensive boots are identical to the 15$ boots.

They just sell them at a higher price and a better description...

I think I might give them a shot, I might also do some measuring on other bikes and see if any have a chance of fitting.

Just ridiculous that guy is charging $75 for the cheapo ones. Definitely not buying those and I'll tell my friends
