Well I bought a cable luber motion pro v3. I really like it and it works better than I thought it would. But I’m looking for some options on brands of cable lube to use. I’ve been using WD40 so far but I know it’s not the best for long time use. So what does everybody else use ?

Congrats on getting a quality cable luber. A small thing, but they're such a big help.

My opinion is use whatever is handy and don't put a lot of thought into it. Lubing cables is an actual maintenance procedure, so if you do it on a regular basis, it doesn't matter too much what you use. If it runs out the other end, that's good enough.

If your talking OEM Honda cables, you may want to find a lube that isn't hard on plastics, since some of those cables have a plastic coating on the actual cable itself. I know the CRC silicone spray I keep around says not to use on plastics. Good for rubber though.
