will a 200s motor fit in a 200m?

like the title states, can I drop a 185/200 s motor in a 200m? thanks. jim

I have never done it, but I would say yes

It should drop in place. The other way around is where you would probably run into trouble with the starter hitting the frame.

Yes, but the front engine mounting plates are probably different, due to the 200M having electric start and the 200S not.

I'm working out a trade, if the motors not siezed probably going to pick it up. If for some reason the motor is hurt, ive got a few 185/200 motors I can swap in. jim

My daughters 200s had an M engine on it when I got it. We fabricated a plug for the e-starter hole. Then I got a 200m with an S- motor on it. Swapped them around and suddenly I could sleep better at night...weird.
