View Full Version : Got another fooler after 15 years!
Like an idiot, sold my 84' 250r to buy a piece of heavy equipment 15 years ago.
I found this one for sale a month and a half ago, half way across the country. Paid the man and set up shipping. Friday it arrived! Very happy to own a fooler again. It even has rear brakes and a working parking brake, which is rare for these.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210131/490cdd4d8e6454252cd35ca3773e2215.jpg

Nice bike man, congrats!!! I just picked up an 84 fooler myself a few weeks ago. Yours is in a bit better shape, mine needs some tlc but I was stoked to find it also. First fooler or 250r for me. Where in the country did yours come from?

266437It came from Nebraska of all places. I'm in NY. Had my first one as a teenager in the late 90's. So much fun.

That is awesome man, interesting where this stuff ends up. I'm looking forward to getting mine trail/dune ready. When I bought mine the owner showed up at a trailhead with a dodge cummins towing a stock trailer, inside was the 250r and a mule. Like pack mule, animal not machine lol. He swung the gate open, and it got stares from EVERYBODY on that trailhead. I knew I had to buy it, such a cool classic.

It looks pretty stock as well. Nothing at all wrong with that. It means that some idiot didn't try throwing every go fast part available at it in order to have the most powerful one around.

Nice, and interesting collection! Care to tell us about them? Wasn't there a trials bike for sale at one point?

Awesome man! Congrats on the find! Love my '83 - no where near as original as your '84 but it's a work in progress.
