Hhow can people let nice trikes like Tigers get all messed up like that....bad enough to do it to a 250R or Tri-Z, but a Tiger

Its just not right!! I hope someone can bring it back to life.

I should have gotten that Tiger 4 that was on ebay a few months ago, it was only 2 hours from me..... :(

Its going to be interesting to see what this one goes for. Would love to have the privelage to say I own a real piece fo ATC history. My only concern would be I couldn't resist riding it and probably wind up breaking something that I wouldn't be able to replace. Anyways hope it goes to a good home, hopefully somebody on this board that will really appreciate it and give it the TLC it requires.

I am the seller of the Tiger 250 on Ebay. We just pull the listing and decided to bring this baby back to life. The response to this listing has
been overwhelming and has definitely motivated us to restore the bike.
We never really neglected it, we bought it just as it is now, about five year
or so ago when we use to live in the Minneapolis aerea. My husband was
at a classic bike auction and for some strange reason the Tiger was brought up for sale, he purchased it not knowing the history but realizing
that the components of the bike were significantly high quality.
We later found out that this was the personal bike of one of the auctioneers and had been stored in his garage for many years. It was only raced a few times mainly on flat track or ice. It use to run but as it sat in the garage the stator and the rotor got rusted.
I can definitely use help in locating motor parts and a seat.
Thanks to all the bidders and sorry for the disappointments.

these people contacted me about a year ago asking for some help with this bike. I didnt know it was the same one, but the story above is the same. Anyway, too bad the auction ended early, but im glad they decided to keep it.

vswan, parts are really not a problem if you would stop lurking and join the forums, take some time to meet some other tiger owners we would be happy to help you out with a seat and other parts you would need! :-D

Hello vswan and welcome to the board. Glad to see you decided to keep the Tiger and restore it. I think you will find some parts challenging to get but I am sure they are out there just takes a little time and effort. Anyways keep us posted on the progress via pics and stories cause we are always interested in them.
Good Luck!
