250r kicker alternative

Good day I have a question maybe someone could answer? I was looking at other ways beside pull starting my 250R due to a leg injury. I was wondering if a dr dragster starter would work if I welded the collar off a kicker onto the output shaft of the starter? Would the 3 wheelers kicker shaft rotate 360 degrees and do you think the teeth would become rounded off since it would not the bolted tight? Thanks

I don't know what year of 250R you have, but 1985-89 kickstart shafts have an internal stop boss, and only rotate about 135 degrees.

Back in the day I built an RD400 powered trike and made the kicker into a handle and just started it by hand. I know it sounds like a bad idea but it worked very well. Back then the RD powered trikes were pretty common out here on the west coast and that's how we all did it.

I'll just keep pull starting it. I dont ride it too often. I don't think itll mess anything up as long as I use the clutch and dont dump it every time
My 350x I used to have had a goki that was nice. Even if they did make one for an R I don't know if I could bring myself to put one on it lol.
