My uncle recently restored this "Avenger". I thnk it has a different name though. Below is a picture of his. You should see the before picture. It was a sad heap. Anyway here's what I know about it: 14HP Briggs & Straton engine with electric start, dual rear disc brakes (this was an option that his has), and they were sold as do it yourself kits in the early 1980's in Popular Mechanics Magazine. I think he still has an ad from one of the mags, and I'll see what I can do to get it scanned.

Compile me a list of quetions to ask him about it and I will. See PIcture:)

Ooo! That's sexy. I love old obscure trikes like that. It doesn't appear to be a carbon copy of the Avenger, obviously. Do you have any bigger pictures? I'd love to be able to see all of the little details about it.

I'm assuming it's an automatic clutch with a manual transmission. Five speed, right?

Have you had a chance to ride it? If so, how does it feel?

Is that a tool box on the side?

What are the dimensions on the bed? Does it dump?

What sort of tires does he have on it? Are they the originals?

And finally . . . I see you're in PA. Is he willing to sell it? ;)

Sammybeany:

Here are some answers to your questions:

It has a snowmobile clutch setup (an a twist throttle to boot).

He offered me to ride it, but I passed, next time I'm over there I will though.

What you saw as a toolbox is actually the gas tank.

the Bed dimensions are 4 foot x 5 foot. It does dump.

The tires are 25x12x9 Carlisle Turf Busters.

Regarding it being for sale, anything is for sale at the right price. Make an offer and I'll talk to him about it.
