i just pick up a weld on kit 185s suspended frame with a works rear shock and a pccc front trees. i like to see more of these trike and talk to the people that have themI bought a bolt on kit in 86 or 87 for this 185s. Can't remember who I ordered it from or the maker. Works pretty well, but has a few issues. The weak link is the swingarm pivot bolt and mounting plates. It came with a 3/8" grade 2 bolt that goes through a 1/4" plate mounted on each side of the trike frame. Over time, the holes wallowed out, giving play to the swingarm. I recently removed all the suspension components and the side mounting plates and had the holes welded up and then I redrilled the holes, and had some washers welded up to the plates on the outside, for extra support.
Also, to beef up the front suspension, I installed a Terry kit, which increased travel from 3.2" to about 5".
One pic shows an area where I glued a piece of rubber hose to the swingarm where the chain was rubbing and causing wear. Not sure how long it will last, but works for now.
Overall, a pretty good kit, but 500 bucks was a lot to spend back in 86.

I love seeing pictures of these bikes! I have one with a weld on kit that I'm slowly rebuilding and one with an aftermarket frame of some sort. A friend is rebuilding it for me and it's coming along very nicely! I don't know how to post pictures or I would lol, I'll see if a Fabio can help me with that! Keep pictures coming, I'm looking forward to seeing them!

Here are a few pictures of my suspended 185s at TF2k18. It's a pk bolt on kit with 200x forks. I have a build thread in my signature if anyone wants to take a look.

I bought an adapter from a member who has since passed. His username was Ol deuce, Randy was a heck of a guy he answered a BUNCH of my questions. I'm sure I annoyed the hell out of him but he was never anything but nice to me. He even welded the Adapter up for me so all I had to do was install it in my triples. Here is a picture of the Adapter.

Edit: Wish I never uploaded these pictures to photobucket.
