Hello all, I have recently put on new tires on my 350X - original date coded OEM tires on the shelf. Looking at it after a couple minutes, I noticed the left rear tire appears to stick out about half an inch more than the right side. Stock rims and hubs, never messed around with anything. I took off the wheels to measure the mating surface for the wheel on the hub to the swing arm, on both sides the axle sticks out exactly 14 inches, but yet looking at the bike from the very front with the rear wheels off, I can clearly see that the left hub is further out compared to the right. Every thing else is completely straight, including the fenders. What is going on here? What can be adjusted to correct this? Does the axle need to be offset to make the rear wheels centered relative to the swing arm? Anything opinion/comments help. Thank you.

Could it possibly be bad swing arm bearings and the swing arm is at a slight angle or shifted over somehow?? Just a shot in the dark.

Thank - you. Tspencer. I do appreciate that. Will check your suggestions tomorrow. It is a fairly low hour original trike. Sat in a Honda dealership - on display since 2004. Here is a fairly recent pic (last year) of the X with the original OEM tires. Not sure if you can see if the left side is sticking out - approx 1/2" more than the right side - hard to tell with that photo
. Will post pics of the X without the wheels mounted and some with the new tires installed.

Is the hub spacer inboard on one side and outboard on the other?

Would someone who owns a '86 350x - kindly post left and right pics of their rear hubs - inboard views - for comparison with mine. Thanks in advance.

Here's mine: I run my spacers on the inside for a little extra width.

Great detailed pics, floydechoes2000. Thank - you. Exactly the same set-up as mine but something is off on mine. Both axles measure 14" inches (measurement taken from the swingarm opening to the mounting side of the hub). Although, when standing directly behind the X - the left side is approx 1/2 inch wider. It is noticeable. Both spacers are the same width.

Very strange, if I didn't have so much stuff blocking mine in (I've been doing some much needed maintenance to it) I'd pull it out and take a pic for comparison.

My first thoughts are maybe the axle isn't fully seated in the carrier, or maybe the frame is bent.
