Picked this up today, 86 350x with 88 nx650 engine, looks a little rough

I think that engine fits perfect in there. WOW I like it., gives me hope for my bucket of bolts.
does it run?

Previous said it had no spark, looks like whoever did the swap did a good job

By all appearance it ran at one time. They did a good installation swap. The one issue with the NX, XR or XL swaps was the oil tank. Please post pic's of oil tank. As far as spark the NX CDI black box has a known problem with bad solder joints inside, not that its your problem, but a common test is to smack the box with a screw driver handle and if you get spark its the corporate.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind, gotta build a tank and figure all that out
