I recently redid my 87 250sx, 200x front forks/brake etc. But I'm a heavier guy (250lbs) and definately need a stronger set of springs. I do alot of trail/rocky/woop riding. The forks are rebuilt (original springs) with all honda parts/seals etc. Ran about 3psi in each but still not better.

I've looked for progressive springs but they are no longer available from anywhere., is there any other options? I see they still make stronger springs for 250r's and 350x's ...any information would be amazing! Thanks in advance

The "solution" is to put some 1" spacers underneath (I believe) the springs. The SX is a heavier machine anyway and this is recommended.

Thanks for the response,
I've heard that, but the stock springs from 83' are definitely worn. Wouldn't a spacer just mask the problem and cause a bumpier ride compressing the weak spring more?

I'd rather install a higher weight rated spring to support the type of riding I do. Id post a few pics of my machine but im still a new member with not enough posts.
