I've sold and owned enough that I ought to know, but this speedometer head bracket, right out of a sealed Hodaline box doesnt line up.
I know how to build them, make them, fix them, buy and sell them. But I've never even ran one on my trikes, too expensive to trash... But, why haven't any past buyers said "the bracket doesn't fit right?", because I would have laughed at them and said "it's new, it's NOS, it must be your trike"...
These are 86/87 forks, the mounting hole location seems the same on an 83 thru 85 200X. Seems to be off 4mm, easily corrected but I'm not sure why a NOS Hondaline part is not fitting even close...
What am I missing, makes no sense to me??https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200417/91c44b42a960582d47113d362f9d5443.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200417/6700c5141696387b14f18ba6c01fe8c3.jpg
