Hi all, i got no back brakes on my 200m. The pivot is seized up, i tried smacking it back and forth with a hammer but its still seized and no brakes either way. so i need to pull the axle out to free up the pivot ? or can it all be done in the bike.

Also, the inner chain guard is there a way to get that off? I've been looking at it, however it looks like i'd need to pull the axle out completely to get the chain guard off.

Pull it all apart , heat up the shaft with a torch and gently hammer it out . Clean and grease it up good .

Since you want to remove the guard, then yes just remove the whole axle.
But if it is just the brakes then no. take off the tire and the 5 outer cover bolts, back off the 2 axle jam nuts and slide the brake bell off of the shoes, then you can see
why the pivot shaft is all boogered up. clean it lube it, clean the whole it rides in , lube that whole and reinstall, verify it all works before you completely reassemble.
