Has anyone got any recommendations for a heavy duty handheld 2 way radio cradle/bracket on a trike? When camping- I set off exploring areas but keep contact with base camp as there isn't any mobile phone coverage. I ride a Yamaha Tri-moto 175 with front suspension, how do brackets hold up to the knocking around? Can the 2 way fall off? At the moment I ride with the unit in my top jacket pocket to hear transmissions somewhat, but as it approaches summer its too hot to wear.
A bracket or cradle would be ideal as I can see the radios display light up when someone calls me & also hear better. I can get over 11kms away with my 2.5w uniden UHF, and has helped me a couple of times when in trouble.

Well for anyone that is interested -I found my solution - went for the RAM mounting system. Easy to install & very strong. I went for a mount that could go behind the handlebar to protect it.
