Thats funny, when I was younger I would go ride at a friends farm. The neighboring farm had one of those and the kid that lived there would always try to go riding with us on it. It handled like sh** and 15 mph is being generous for its top speet :D. I'm sure it was good for working around the farm though.

There was one of those down the road from me for sale a while back. It had the same rear end as that but had an actual trike front end on it. Like a huge ass chopper front end. It dident have a steering wheel either! When i saw it i thought cool, but when you think about it if you couldent unlock the diff it wouldent steer at all!

ive got a 4 wheel version here and it has a locking rear end but you can also unlock it... and like said there is no steering with it at all when the rear end is locked full posi all it wants to do is go strate.

i grew up with those machines. very handy around the farm. we had three at one time, the one was a john deer that we restored and sold for a pretty penny. the other two were commuters that were built in cascade iowa. commuter also built three wheelers. top speed on most all there machines were 25-35 mph. we have two of the three wheelers and two of the five wheelers left. the one three wheeler and one five wheeler run on a 341cc kawaski indutrial engine and are cyntrifugal cluch. the five wheeler is the only one with reverse. they weigh around five hundred pounds but float better than some atvs with the 25-12-9 tires one the rear. anyone interested in buying one or just more information let me know
