Found bolt for thickened 350x frame pivot areas update

I beefed up my pivot areas on the 350x frame and wondering what swingarm pivot bolts work/are long enough for the added thickness. I bought a bolt from fastenal, but there are way to many threads on it. Also trying to see if I can get BVCTRIKES to make me one. I sent an email, but probably need to call them.

I think it's the trx450r that works for that.

measure the diameter of the bolt, not the threaded area, the shank area. I believe that the 350x and 86/87 200x bolt is a slightly smaller diameter.

I'm able to use a stock bolt with 400EX nut (it's a lock nut). Just enough threads.

Thank you for your time oldskool83. After digging around and requesting measurements from ads on ebay, I am going to try a bolt from an 85 xl250r. I could try the 400ex nut but I am trying to keep as many threads as possible out of the pivot area on the frame. Will update this weekend..hopefully.

Alright, the bolt is from an 86 xl250r. On a stock frame, the entire grip length of the bolt goes completely through the frame pivot holes with about 0.1 inch of grip sticking out. This gets all threads out of the pivot holes! A washer or two would be needed.
On my frame with added thickness at the frame pivots, I have just over 0.2 inch of grip that goes into the hole and 3 threads are in the hole. Close to what I want, but it will work! It fits through all swingarm pieces as well!

Here are some pics. I never got pic of it installed on my frame with gussets. Shorter bolts oem 350x length. Longer is the 86 XL250R. The XL bolt looks larger in diameter but it is the same. TRX450R bolt did not work.
