hey people
i think we've all herd stories from time to time about people with nos in a trike quad or bike but i was just wondering if anyone has the balls to do it to their trike. If you have done it...do you have to in top gear before you use it and what mods had to be done before you could use it. Is thier alot of power/speed gains.

Geez! NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems) is the brand name of a nitrous system, just like Marvin Miller, Zex or Venom. N2O is the gas.....
People don't go around saying "Hey he's got Marvin Miller on his car"! It's really dumb...

But that happens with a lot of stuff. Like Q-tips. Q-tip is a brand name, not the product name, do you ever hear of anyone asking for a "cotten swap" to get mud out of their ears?

Yeah, yeah, there are hundreds of examples. But what is a nos? Actually, most people don't call a nitrous oxide system "nos", most call it nitrous or "the bottle". The nos term has only popped up recently. From the days of WWll (when it was used in German fighters) to the late 90s anyways, the name of the stuff was what it actually was, nitrous oxide gas.

and yes, people do use the terms bandage, snow machine, tissue, glass cleaner, paper towel et al.
Creative marketing has firmly seeded the use of certain product names to refer to a whole market . Most above names you all mention above are all logical and descriptive terms, albeit used as brand names.
