I scored this pristine 85’ big red 250 for 1200$ after looking at a few 700$ junkers that would cost over 1500$ to fix up. It has new tires and a new battery. Everything is in excellent shape besides a few small cracks and the stickers could use replaced. The breaks and everything work. It has nerf bars and some
Kind of weird accessory bolted to the forks. The inside of the tank even looks brand new. These are going for double that now in my neck of the woods.

I'm pretty certain those fork pegs were from some aftermarket company and there's a thread or two about them on this site somewhere. Maybe from one of the same companies that made the front axle extensions for the rigid fork trikes, like the 110 and ATC185/200.
If nothing else, I guess they make a good helmet hook.
