Old picture of my Tri-Moto

Here's an old picture I found at my mom's house.

This was my 1983 Tri-Moto 175 that I purchased new in the Fall of 1982. I'm guessing this was taken during the Spring of 1983.

so how did you like your tri-moto?

Yeah, the picture is not the best. Come to think of it, most of the pictures my brother took look like that! LOL

I liked that darned Tri-Moto a lot. Because of the engine placement the front end would push in corners but is was really snappy. Any I could ride wheelies forever. It was as reliable as a stone ax too.

My one buddy and I are proud to this day that during 1983 we rode every single day. (Although some of those January days where the temp was -30F we only rode down the block and back to say we rode that day!)

I sold it in 1985 to buy my Tri-Z but from what I hear the guy who bought it still rides it once and a while. One of these days I'm going to track him down and see if I can buy it back.
