View Full Version : Question for Howdy and all the 86 atc350x experts out there!

I have a couple of question about an 86 atc350x motor. When you rebuild the crank on a 86atc350x do you have to press out the crank from the left side crank case with a press or can you do it another way? Secondly, when you rebuild the crank with a new crank rod, pin crank and bearings do they have to be pressed togther with press or is there another way of putting or pressing them together? What is the process involved in rebuilding a crank on a 86atc350x and what is the best way of doing it?
Thanks for all of your advice in advance! :-D

1986atc350xhonda,,,, morning. looks like i am not the only one up early to tinker with a project.
my x book says to use a press for the removing the crank.
as far as re-building a crank,,, although i have never done one,,, i am sure it is all pressed together also.
i take my motors in to my motor guy when it gets that involved.
you really should get a service manual if your going that deep into your x.
