Last night I wired my '85 headlight on my'80 110. I started it to test the lights and it worked good...then it dies. It kinda has some idle troubles and now I can't start it back up.I has good spark, and I need everyones ideas. BTW I haven't done anything ecept drain the gas, so I'm open to everything. The plug was black, is this normal on a 4-stroke? thanx

No, the plug isn't supposed to be black...more like a tan-brownish color. Does it still have good compression? You may have to retorque the head bolts. I don't think it has to do anything with your headlight though (just a wierd coincidence) unless its grounding to the frame when you're not looking or something.

Try checking your airbox because it could be dirty or clogged and try cleaning the carb, and try cleaning the plug and maybe that well help it.

id look the headlight wireing over very well.... i suspect it grounding out some ware maybe not enouph to cut the spark totaly out but make it weak enouph to not fire.

Before you do ANYTHING else, change the plug.
