81 250r with 84 200x front end, what fork oil? how much?

Doing a 3rd refresh in 10 years on my old turd.. anyways rebuilding the front forks, which came from a 84 200x 33mm? I think I'm like 230lbs and I ride the northeast with less than smooth trails (read = rocky) anyways, I have atf, and amsoil shock thearapy 5wt, or get something else. thoughts? suggestions?

too weak. would be better to add a spring kit and try 10wt with some air pressure.

Here in south Florida I use 15w threw my shop , if your wanting to stiffen up the front forks just ad a piece of schedule 40 pvc between the top cap and spring , maybe 1” piece to start off with until you like the ride height and rebound .

At 230 pounds, nothing you throw at 200x forks is going to make a difference if you do a spirited aggressive ride. It is what it is...
