New carb for tecate. What size??

I'm getting a port job done on my 85 t-3 at Trinity racing and rebuilding the top end. I want to put on a new carb. But don't know what size I should get. The one that was on it when I bought it was off of some sort of dirt bike or something it didn't even fit in the rubber boot for the reed valve assembly, to small but ran well!! I think that I should go up a few sizes from stock because of the port job,but don't know for sure NEED suggestions!!!! Also, where is the best place to order one?? What brand is best???

I think a 38MM Flatside either Keihin or Mikuni should suit your needs.

I bet Trinity will give you good advice. tell them what pipe you have, and what type of riding your going to be doing(they probably already asked for the port job)
