With the help from Mike, we were able to source the CDI side of the round 6 pin connector (produce in Taiwan). I have a pretty limited stock of that connector, but I can make adapters at request. Great for running a newer CDI on your 84-85 machine like a 86 250r CDI on a 85 250r.

I also have the square 6 pin connector, and the 3+4 83 ATC200X connectors on hand too.

I'm still working on a final design for selling, but I can make an one for a given application. There's several different pin-outs on the CDI connectors. I attached a photo to show an example of how they turn out.

Currently I can adapt anything Honda 85 and older to the modern 86 and up 4+2 style CDI connector. I have a few plugs coming so I can adapt 4+2 to 4+2 for different pin-outs across machines too.

Here's the machines with the same pin-outs and connector type for a reference (myself included). Note this list doesn't mean the CDI's will work across machines, just that the pin functions match up correctly.

6 pin square connector

81-83 ATC110
80 ATC185
81-83 ATC185S
81-83 ATC200
82-83 ATC200E
81-84 ATC250R

4+3 square connectors

83 ATC200X

6 pin round connector (Pin-out set 1)
84-85 ATC110
84-85 ATC125M
84-85 ATC200M
84-85 ATC200S

6 pin round connector (Pin-out set 2)
84-85 ATC200X
85 ATC250R

6 pin round connector (Pin-out set 3)
85 ATC250ES
85 ATC250SX

6 pin round connector (Pin-out set 4)
84 ATC200ES
84 TRX200

6 pin round connector (Pin-out set 5)
85 TRX125

In theory, pin-out sets 1,2,4 should be able to use the same adapter, but I have to look into the safety systems a bit more to validate what would happen with say a Chinese CDI.
Also sets 3 and 5 are similar too, main difference is neutral safety vs reverse safety. With the correct OEM style CDI, the adapter would work fine, with a Chinese CDI it will need to be wired differently.

Anyway, I have 9 of the round CDI connectors I can use for adapters, so fairly limited supply. These take a while to make with the solder work, so the adapter price is $30, the square 6 pin adapter is $20 since it's all crimp connections. Just let me know what machine you're adapting from and which CDI you're adapting to.

I can also make 4+2 pig tails where you cut your old connector off and crimp/solder the new connector on, just matching up the colors. I'd be interested in the old connector too. Pig tail is $16 shipped, $5 off for your old round 6 pin CDI connector.
