when rolling axle doesn't seem to look bent, also if the axle is bent wouldn't the wheel wobble up, down, forward, and back??????

ryanrx7,
it could be a bent rim or bearings going bad or the hub is just loose.
try this.......elevate the rear end , grab the wheel with 2 hands and try to twist it left to right , up and down...does it wiggle??? tighten the axle nut..
you should be able to see what if anything is moving while you twist and push or pull.....if you got no free play....bent rim for sure....hope this helps,
good luck, greg

ps..i definately would not continue to ride until you find the problem...it can only lead to further damage!!

The rear hub could be loose or the bearings could be gone...By shaking the rearend from right to left then you can determine if the bearings are gone.

This thing is shaft drive if that makes any difference. Does the hub just bang on with a hammer or what???? I mean what would I do if it is loose??

axle nut should have a cotter pin ...remove the wheel....remove cotter pin turn nut clockwise replace cotter pin.

Bloody Pond is down near the city, used to be a huge landfill a very long time ago and has been closed for before I was ever thought of. Take 695 toward Glen Burnie and get off on exit 5 (ferndale exit) make a left then a right onto hammonds lane, follow that to Ritchie Highway (cycle world on the right) and make a left onto Ritchie Highway, go down and make a right onto church street, then turn onto Aspen street. Park in the pull off or some people park behind the nightclub fantasies. There is a knocked down gate and just follow that in on the bikes. Place ir Huge, and cops don't bother cause it's on the ciity, county line. On a busy day there could be 100 riders on a saturday. Place has hills and wood trails, open field, asphalt and drit. Only thing is cause it's close to the city keep an eye on your stuff. I ride a YTM225 I just picked up not to long ago, or my RM250.

Swap your rear wheels around. If the wobble moves to the other side, your rim is bent.
