I was wondering what you 90/110 guys are running for a oil cooler and if you think it helps. I'm talking modified motors here 130 cc and up

255517 This is what I've been using on my flat track 70's. It does help cause you could feel the difference in the oil lines.

It shows where to drill, tap and plug the oil galleys on 90/110 and 185/200 engines.

Two different schools of thought.
First is probably the best but not the easiest. It's called an Oil Bypass System. On the 90/110 where you pick up the most heat as well as experience the highest chance of engine failure is oil going or not going through the oil passage up the cylinder into the head.
The first example pulls the oil out of the oil pump and takes it directly to the head. Almost eliminating having to have an inline cooler.

Second example comes out of the side of the cylinder and goes directly to the head. Just another way to do it. Maybe a little easier than the first.

And finally and probably the most common because it is the easiest. This uses an aftermarket piece but you can use a modified stock cam cover.

Do the 110's have a restrictor in the block like the 70's to lower the oil flow to the head?
