Needing help with 85 250r piston rings.

Cylinder has fresh hone and picked up a Honda piston 66.50 to match the cylinder. I have been unable to locate a set of rings to match. Is there any other brand of rings that fit a Honda piston or is the only option to buy a wiseco or prox piston/rings set?

look up the OEM part number and check ebay?

Thanks, I have been watching for a month now for either atc or trx rings but I have only seen aftermarket rings so I was hoping an aftermarket set would fit. I am sure most if not all aftermarket rings are different.

Thanks I will check on these. Have you used these on a Honda oem piston and they fit? I was worried they would be different.

I have not. If you want to be 100% sure Wait for a set of OEM rings to pop up or get a piston and rings from wiseco. I don’t see why these wouldn’t work though.

I will give them a shot and if they dont fit right I will continue my search or go wiseco. thanks

I’ve got these- problem is the part# says one thing and the written on tape says another (old looking tape) let me know if you want to try them. 255114 255115
So they could be any size/ no idea
