ok, we have an 85 110. i had no idea that low range was so slow. damn. my buddies 110 is having trouble with high range.when you shiftgears it sits there and click/ chatters until the rpms are low enough for it to drop in gear, by this time you are at a stand still. as you are going, if you get it going, it pops out of gear. low range is operational but slow as heck. what is the deal with this thing?
any suggestions.

i let my buddy ride the r out of the field tonight , i had no idea how fast that thing is. no sooner then he got on he was gone. i can imagine how he felt going from that 110 to the r. i know that it can be tricky to hang to going across the field with everything being frozen and ruts from being ridden in.
thanks for the help

the same thing happened to my 125m...the gears for the high range are gone,if i recall I think they have a set of gears for the low and a set for the high. Its not that hard to change if you know what your doing.

there are a couple 110 sub-trannies listed on ebay. and as smokinp said it isn't that hard to change.

Shifting fork may be bent, also your not suppost to shift the high low on the fly.
