how the heck do you do it? I know on my 200x's you adjust the swing arm but I don't see that on this one..... it is a 1985 honda 250r........

Loosen up the two allen bolts at the back, loosen the center bolt and turn the axle housing, its shaped like a cam lobe on the inside Mr. mechanic. :D

If its like most Hondas, theres two allen head bolts on the back end of the swingarm. You loosen them, and then rotate the aluminum carrier. The carrier is like a cam.

Now that you see how easy the eccentric cam chain adjustment system is on a 250R, don't you wish your 200X had the same system?
