Hey guys just wondering if any of you have an hour meter on your trikes? Do they work good? There are wireless ones and the ones that link to your coil. Any advice would be appreciated on which to buy? Read some reviews and they say the wireless ones don’t work so well? Thanks Ivan

I recommend and install plenty of the wiseco versions were the wire wraps around the coil wire . Definitely needed on two strokes and all the new high strung 4 stroke motors so you know when to service them .

I’ve installed a few wireless ones but only use those were I had concealed wires and caps . They worked ok but it in my experience their not as accurate .

I bought one for a brand new generator of mine. No name chinese from amazon. It was easy to install and worked great....for about 6 months. The battery died after that and lost all memory. It's sealed so you can't replace the battery without prying it open and that'll probably destroy it. It still works as a tach.
Buy a good one with a replaceable battery.
