Has anyone else replaced the whole Swingarm bearing assembly new??? I just went to Yamaha today and spent 186 bucks on everything brand new....Included in that price was the rear bearings and seals as well...Well, what do you think??? Has anyone done it cheaper??

I got all of the bearings and everything for my swingarm from yamaha for around $80. They must of over charged you or something.

Well, I bought everything .... How long ago did you buy yours??

i just find bearings for something newer that will fit all the same...

I just call my local industrial supply and give them the bearing numbers and get them for less than 1/2 the price.

I will do that next time...But when you start with NOTHING you must BUY EVERYTHING... :-D

If white Brothers (or other large distributor) doesn't list an aftermarket company that offers a bearing/bushing kit, your choice was a wise one. Sourcing bearings from a bearing company can be a tricky thing if you are not familiar with how to get the best grade of bearing. Keeping those old rigs running can get expensive...
