85 ATC 250R Rear Swingarm change

Just bought an 85 ATC 250R this week and have posted a few threads already asking various questions. My 250R has a +6" swingarm and whoever added the swingarm extension also removed the shock linkage and modified the shock to bolt directly to the swingarm with no linkage.

I am interested in returning the rear suspension to the stock swingarm with the original linkage and original shock (likely buy one and have rebuilt). Is ebay the best place to buy the used parts to make the swap?

I think ebay would be a good option. I don't think you would break the bank going that route.

PM sent. Does an 86 arm fit an 85?

Yes 86 swingarm will fit 85.But you will need the 86 carrier,axle and brake caliper mount for 86 aswell.
