CDI Box 1985 200S

Every one I've bought off of Ebay has been larger than my stock one - are these OK to use? How do you even know if you have a bad one? Trike was running fine until this past Sunday but I believe it is a carb issue but then realized I still have the stock 85 CDI on it and figured maybe I should change it.

VERY rare for those CDI boxes to go bad.

The Chinese ones are ok but nothing better than the OEM one

Thanks for the information - I'll just stick with the stock one. I'm not sure how a person even knows when it goes bad?
