82 250R front tire

What is the best front tire for an 82 250R? Just semi-aggressive desert trail riding. Also should the front tire be 22x10-8 or 22x11-8? Thank you in, Jake.

I have not even used mine yet, but I went with the Kenda frontmax. Will know hopefully this year how it fares.

The Kenda Frontmax is a very good front tire. I have one on my 86 Tecate. The long siped knobs really dig in and give good directional control.
