HI Guys
I have an opportunity to purchase a running ish/parts 86 atc350x from a guy but the rear fender is missing 4 of the rear garnish metal inserts and was wondering if anyone know what size they are and where you can possible buy some from? The ones left on this fender look to be round because I saw an ebay auction for some inserts but they are square shaped. Is the square shape 85 atc350x style?
Also, are these insert tapped inserted or pressed into the plastic fender? I assumed that honda just placed the inserts in the molds before injecting the plastic but it sort looks like the may have pressed or tapped them into the rear fender... any thought or info on how they were/are installed or if you can install them after the fact? Any info would be appreciated.
