this will be a single gasket to replace the current dual exhaust gasket setup. currently I only have two made untested for oem expansion chambers. DG style is in fabrication as well. I will start selling them after I am able to test them out. Brandon

Nice. It's so annoying to have an exhaust that spits oil everywhere.

I do still currently sell the replacement discontinued gasket, but I am desiring to eliminate yamaha's defunct dual gasket design

Update have installed the second prototype in my Z today was a tight fit into the pipe. Had to tap it down the last 1/8 inch because of the o-ring which creates a seal. Is a nice perfect fit without the o-ring on there so I know it seals on stock pipe. Started up with a perfect seal on Tuesday I will be utilizing the 60* weather and doing a little riding for final results. After that if all is well these will become available for sale for stock pipes only at the moment as I have not received enough measurements from dg pipes owners to determine consistency.

Hey, sorry for the delay on the report.
I will stuff mine into two DG pipes tomorrow if I can and post I.D. and depth.
The part looks great! Love the O-ring. My only doubt at a glance is the flat rubber gasket.
Wondering if it will hold up over time and if a crush washer might be more durable in the long run.

El Camexican yours is for a stock pipe setup not dg, when I do the dg's they will have 2 o-rings instead of the single as there is more depth from their collar length unless you have the short dg collared pipes. I know there is 2 dg versions out there. the flat rubber gasket works perfect as a seal to the exhaust port, is the same type of rubber as the o-ring and should handle up to 500*f of heat which is more than our pipes get and is supposed to be able to withstand fuels as well. with this design those two should be the only items that will need to be replaced. which if all is right with this I will stock them for quick replacements. Update took my Z out for a three hour ride and all o-rings held up with no leaking at all. I am going to make these available in the store around Monday. I currently only have enough material to make 8 more but after those 8 sell I will purchase much more material and o-rings to make a large group of them. They are currently only available for stock pipes but if enough people get me dimensions on the dg collar I will be able to tell whether dg kept their pipes uniform to stock and if so will make these dg compliant as well. Short: Depth is .928” to .940” and diameter is 2.27” to 2.30”
Long: Depth is 1.38” to 1.43” and diameter is 2.27” to 2.28”
Let me know if you need any clarification.

the 2.27 is the I.D. correct. if so I can make that work with my current o-ring setup. the short DG style will work with my stock gasket and I can fit in a second 0-ring with the long DG style to help. have you tried the gasket yet and if so what are your results, mine were great with a stock expansion chamber. I just haven't got a chance to make more gaskets yet as the weather cleared up and I have had people bringing me machines to work on already along with my fulltime job, but they are coming soon to the store. I will make one long DG style and offer it soon, but the other seven I have material for will be oem and short DG pipes only.
