Your local auto parts stores will sell the aircraft paint stripper in a spray can or brush on type. I’d say buy 3 or 4 cans to start with. I’ve tried several different brands, they seem to work ok but also run out much sooner than expected.

The last few times I used it everything involved was pretty cold, that may affect the stripping?

If you have any brake cleaner it will strip paint. You should spread out paper towels on the fenders and let them soak it up to keep from dripping off.

Brake clean will do it without messin up the plastic ?

I use Rust-Oleum brand aircraft stripper from Walmart. Brake cleaner doesn't work well and evaporates too quick in my experience.

I hijacked your other thread with that question. The answer was aerosol aircraft stripper and another seconded it so I got some at AutoZone and tried it under the fender and they were right.
It worked great.

It's all good man, I just wanted to know if any body had experience with any particular brand or kind so I don't melt my fender. It's all about helpin out each other.I read a couple reviews about the autozone stuff and they weren't good. So I just wanted to see what was what before i did anything.
