Well... after over a year without a trike to ride, even though I own 5, I will finally have almost-ready-to-ride trikes back in my garage after this weekend. I have posted several times over the past year about various problems with various trikes. I had an '85 Tri-Z that started it all. I added an '86 250SX, then an '83 250R (that ended up being a 300R Hondaline), then added another '85 Tri-Z. To top things off I was able to help a buddy get an '85 250r that even though is not mine, I will still get to see and ride from time to time since we are riding buddies.
So, let me tell you about my exciting next couple of weeks....
Fixed the brakes on my '85 ATC70 2 nights ago so my son can ride with me again.
The '85 250R shows up Thursday ready my buddy to ride.
I travel to my builder's shop Friday and bring the 300R and the '85/'86 Hybrid Tri-Z home to start the break-in process.
I pick up the '86 250SX next weekend from being rebuilt....
And the funniest part of all this is the Yellow '85 Tri-Z... I bought it a couple months back just to have something to ride... it was supposed to be "ready to ride" well... we all know how that goes and it is now in worst shape of all the bikes! So thats the only non fun part about this story, but I guess thats how it goes!
I guess you could say I am a bit excited :-)
