I haven't made my replacement mold yet (#3 mold). Looks like he has every color in the rainbow covered.

by using metal and paint:rolleyes:.I guess i should have been more clear on what i meant. thats just how i make mine plastic inevitably cracks if you actually racing which is the only time i use one anyway.

i did bite the bulet and order the dc one in red well see how it looks

most certainly. idk i just prefer metal. the last one i made i did with aluminum and tig welding. I used DC Tig with a helium gas and positive electrode feed it came out really nice. its really had to weld aluminum like that and it only works with certain setups and only a few aluminum grades. really doesnt end up as nice or clean as AC Tig but i didnt have an AC Tig at that time.
