How to make cylinder head look new???

I wanna clean up the jug on my 85 250ES and I guess the whole engine to look new. Anyone got any tips or products in mind that work? Doing this on a running machine engine not out or apart by the way. Thanks

I thought I read on here some people were using apple vinegar.

Just a couple options are to clean it off then paint it with high temp aluminum paint or media blast it with sand, walnut shell, or plastic, then spray clear lacquer over it which may eventually yellow just a tiny bit.
