spark arrestor help asap

I bought a DG exhaust system and I don't think it has a spark arrestor. Its on my ATC 185 what can I do to put one on before this week end? To check the spark arrestor they stick a rod in your pipe.

The DG probably doesn't have one. Can you just use the factory one?

Remove baffle.
Acquire stainless sink strainer or similar perforated metal screen.
Figure out how to attach to baffle.
Reinsert baffle.

You can use a stainless still sink strainer from your local hardware store or Home Depot lowes etc ( 5$ or less) all you need to do is remove the core and fit it behind there and replace. Your need to drill and replace rivets. But yeah if you read my quiet core thread same concept. I think I briefly showed my home made spark arrestor.

Thanks for the help guys. My neighbor had a extra spark arrester he let me use.
