Just scored me a pretty much brand new warrior shock today for free from my buddy. It's the first time I've gotten to ride it with a good shock and it's amazing, jumps really good. I can't wait to finish my track in my yard. Working on a supercross finish line jump for my bike the z is going to see some big air really soon.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170816/560a65ab9c4bbe56690b334c6aa07970.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170816/3acb233f7bf470d955f37a2e66875513.jpg

Is that a direct bolt on? No resevior or other fitment issues?

Bolted directly on the rez is on a little goofy for now till I can figure something out. I'll post a pic of that.

That would be cool if the Warrior rear axle fit on a Tri Z too!

Here it is. Think I might get a rez mount from a 200xhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170816/128fc78445bb7069ea8d33bb43c930e3.jpg

The Banshee axle works on the Z. Tusk makes a good extended axle for only $200--at least that is what I paid a few years ago. Regarding the Z shock, they are completely rebuildable. I rebuilt mine a few years ago and did a write up (see link). If you use the Warrior shock, you could always replace its reservoir with the Z reservoir, that way you avoid fitment issues.

I'll back the Tusk axle. I have one on both bikes. Great product looks awesome also. While your there check to see if they have the extended hubs. Another 3.5" all billet hubs and look sweet.

I didn't go the Tusk route.... but, I did do the Banshee axle (Dominator II) and I can also confirm everything fits perfect. The only thing that didn't for me, is I went with Banshee wheels and they are a different bolt pattern... which I didn't know until I tried to mount the wheels to the stock Z hubs. After it was all said and done, I ended up with everything on the back (except for shock and swingarm) were replaced with Banshee stuff

I'm going to take it's hubs and wheels.

Lol.... gotta love neighbors! Why did they get pissed off?My nephews were racing the 200x and blaster down the street. Then I guess he was complaining about the dust in my yard. I live on a dirt road. I would keep my track watered but then I can't slide the trike good.

It is in the very frist list of line items "Banshee axle is the same!"

Ok, you didn't see it because it doesn't fit. The fact that guys with 30+yrs of experance have been there & done that freely tell those that need help...sometimes doesn't sink in. You explore the Yamaha Universe and lets us know when you discover something new. Don't forget to post it for the rest of us. Good luck with your build.

A member asked about it so I checked. Who knows if anyone has tried one before in a z. So now we know for sure it doesn't work. Just because it's not on there doesn't mean anything. There's a chance nobody has tried it or have tried it. Was just confirming it. Don't know why you're trying to knock me down on this.
