Want a new carb as per the title the old PJ is a bit tired and in need of an upgrade

there looks to be a lot of generic shite on the market, where are you buying yours from?

prices in Europe are ott looking for the best price for a genuine Keihin from a reputable retailer in US

Cheers

Not cheap but these should be the genuine article. I have bought jets and other carb parts from them. http://www.pjmotorsports.com/keihin-pwk-carburetors.html

Then there is ESR: http://www.eddie-sanders-racing.com/product_p/38mm%20airstryker%20keihin%20carbs.htm

SUDCO is another supplier but I think you have to go through one of their dealers. However, they have some helpful info on their page to help us identify and avoid fake Keihins and other fake Chinese knock-offs of other good carb brands. http://www.sudco.com/genuine_vs_fake_carburetors.html

I am not sure if any of the suppliers I have listed ship overseas, but it certainly cannot hurt to ask.

Good luck on your hunt neighbor! The PWK/AS is a terrific carb upgrade on just about any 250r, even well up into the big bore sizes. My ESR 350 ran quite well with one, I swapped it in for an ESR PWK 41.2mm only because I felt my engine needed a bit more carb for it's build design.

I don't know about the international shipping. They started refusing my PayPal payments a few months back because my IP address was outside the USA even though my PayPal account and ship to address are US based. PayPal said the seller set up his account like that, so now I need to use a VPN to place orders with them.

Went with ESR, thought their website was a bit vague/confusing though it may have been me having a bit of a moment with the missus and the dog in my ear whilst trying to watch the F1 qualifying. Ordered the 38mm air striker 290-330 jet kit

use a VPN to place orders with them.

Using NordVPN for a while now didn't look too much into it, just precautionary for streaming live sports

We have cut the cable and switched to streaming for all of our movies and TV now. I use IPVanish VPN. Seems to work well.
