a small step in the right direction for my klt today. bought a service manual on ebay it was even the right one for my exact bike :-D now if all goes well and it gets here the hard part will start wich is wiring the whole bike but after that it all should be well. does anybody know if you can repair plastic that has good sized cracks and pieces missing. my top cover (the plastic that goes where the tank would be on other trikes) is pretty badly damaged on my bike and id like to fill the mud flap bolt holes since i dont have flaps.

Hey i just fixed my fender on my 84' r it had some nasty cracks and big chunk missing. what i did is i have a machine shop and i had some stuff called Delrin i think it is comes in black or white. i had some strips laying around like maybe 1 1/2 inch wide and like as 8th thick stuff bend a little hard but gives you some spring in the fender too. actually looked pretty good. after that you can get some white compound i think and fill it in after its together. anyway hope it helps :?
