What colors did 225DRs come in?

There's currently a blue 1985 225DR on craigslist. I thought these only came in black and gold and black and red. Can someone clarify this?244205

That's pretty sweet! I haven't seen a blue 225dr before. All i have seen were the yellows and blacks. I did some quick looking into and saw this YouTube video with blue 225dr.

Yep. I've had a 1985 225dr and a 1985 225dx. Both blue. Maybe blue was 1985 only?244213Dr right before I got stupid and welded a quad front end on it.244214My dx with the dr engine on it.

You're welcome. The seat and rear fenders are the same in both pictures. The dx had no rear fenders and the seat had a big rip in it while the one on the dr was in good shape, so I swapped them.

1983 had yellow only
1984 had yellow, blue, black with gold forks and wheels
1985 had yellow, blue, black with gold forks and wheels
1986 had yellow, blue, black with the red frame.
