Hey - Dean here from AZ. Can you guess how I came up with my forum name? :D
I just picked up a sweet '85 Honda ATC 250SX. I was Googling around for some parts and found this place, so I thought I would register and see what's happening.
My first ATC was a new '79 ATC110 back in...1979. I was 13 and I rode that sucker and the 185S that we later got for many years. Fast forward to today and I'm 51 and have lots of grandkids who need to know how awesome ATCs are, oh and maybe I still love to ride them.
So I bought my bike from another dual-sport guy who did a nice mild resto-job on the ATC. Looks and runs great. Since its been several decades since I owned an ATC, I am sure I'll have lots of questions. I'm pretty capable mechanically, so I'll do my best to help out where I can.

Got a couple other toys in the garage, too.

Nice ride and welcome!
You've got a few years on me....but not many. I started out on a '82 Honda 110. Did the '79 have the Hi and Lo range?
Stay cool

Indeed it did. Thanks for bringing some good memories to mind, getting myself out of a tight spot or steep climb with that kickin' low-range. FUN! I'll have to dig around and see if I can find pics of me on the old 110. Unfortunately my Dad passed away in 2010 and I think a lot of pics were lost at that time.

Impressive! It's sporting an 86 250sx tank, was that something that was changed?

Welcome to the site. Nice trike and bikes you have.
Be sure to post up in 'bikersville' on the bottom of the forum. Not sure if you have to be here for more than 3 months with 10 posts or not to post up there(?)
I like the KTM.

He had to have some holes welded up and when he repainted it, he went with white as he wanted to have the 86/87 look.

Thank you, sir! I'll go check that out. The KTM is a fine piece of machinery, for sure.
