185/200 Engine Temperature

I've got a 200cc motor I'm building and would like to know what the normal engine and exhaust header temps are supposed to be. I don't think it's running hot, the DG header just feels like it puts off more heat. I figured it to be because of the DG header being thinner and larger. Anybody know the temp range or that the DG header puts off more heat? I have access to a laser thermometer.

Thinner and larger probably have a lot to do with it. Something else could also be that it now flows better than stock so more burned gasses go through it faster. I'm not sure but tried to make an educated guess.
