Tecate Moose Stator

is anyone running a moose stator on their 86/87 Tecate, how do line up the stator, I dont see any marks on the stator to line it up with the mark on the inner case.

Yeah, that would present a problem. I may have had a Moose stator once. I think it had a thick coating of paint or powder coating on the plate. If so, maybe it is hidden. You want to be sure to get the timing right. I recently broke my kickstart lever due to kickback and they are hard to replace. I rewound the stator and it threw the timing off.
