for a big red, Id go with some V paddles.. like Sand Skate IIs, Sand Sharks, Sand Stars, even Geckos work pretty good.
For something that heavy and being a 4 stroke, you dont want a straight paddle, youll never get the thing to turn.

Straight paddles are made for hill climbing and drag racing.. Or quads that have more friction up front to turn..

because of the configuration of 3 wheels the "chevron" style is used,

straight paddles are made for straight drags or quads

(they tend to push a trike in a straight line)

of the 2 mentioned, "sand skateII" and "sand sharks", the sharks are actually an imitation of the skates and i wouldn't recommend them on any atc/atv

the skates will prob cost ya around $200 plus rims and are a far superior paddles

sharks are too agressive of a paddle for a big red

Paddles would be too agressive all together, i've ridden my 200s with nobbys in sand before and it does ok if you watch what gear your in. If i were you i'd just buy some mud tires for it, they would be cheaper and do a good job, cause if you put paddles on your red they wouldn't scoop at all and youd have a really rough ride, correct me if i'm wrong, but you never see a 3-wheeler like a big red with paddles, or even any utility 3 wheeler for that matter

It's not weight as much as it is wheelspin and power. I still think it's be a rough ride and that it would be smarter to get something that is all around good like a mud tire, i can understand why you wouldn't want a knobby. If that is what you have on it.

SO...trailprotrailpro SAYING THAT MY ORIGINAL TIRES THAT I HAVE ON IT NOW WOULD DO A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAT A SET OF PADDLES? BUT WHEN I AM AT THE DUNES I SEE A LITTLE TRX90EX FOURWHEELER WITH PADDLES BRATS ON THE BACK? WHATS UP WITH THAT. IF U SAY IT WILL SPIN MORE TIRE THAN MY BIGRED WILL THAN THERES SOMETHING WRONG/.

What you need is a cheap paddle tire. Find the cheapenst tire and rim combo you can buy and you will be happy with it. I would stay away from straight paddles. Geckos or sand skates would be nive tires to run.

I know what you want. You want a tire that you can go and just have fun with. If I was you I would goto the dune park and ride the parking lot a little and buy a set of used paddles and wheels for 75-100 bucks and be done with it and they will last forever.

Just my opinion
